Massilia - Marseille. Obole, head facing left with sideburns, ND (215–49 BC), Marseille.
Obverse: Youthful head facing left, with sideburns, curly hair.
Reverse: Four-spoked wheel, with Μ and Α in two of the quarters.
MHM.15C - Dicomon OBM-10a - LT.580; Silver - 0.61 g - 10 mm - 9 h
Acquired from DZP [Derzypolsky] in 2000.
Featuring a very fine bust with well-detailed curly hair. The patina shows bluish highlights on the obverse and golden highlights on the reverse. Superb.
