GAUL - CELTIC
Massilia – Marseille. Light drachma or tetrabole, featuring a bust wearing a diadem, with an incuse ‘ND’ mark (100–82 BC), Marseille.
Obverse: Head of Artemis facing right, wearing a diadem, with earrings and a pearl necklace; behind her, a quiver and a bow; in front, the monogram Π or TA.
Reverse: Same type, struck in intaglio.

Acquired from Cossettini in 2004.
Clear incuse strike on the reverse. Well centred, the blank slightly concave. With a light patina with golden highlights. Almost Superb.
