Massilia - Marseille. Light drachma or tetrobol, showing a bust of ND wearing a diadem (100–82 BC), Marseille.
Obverse. Head of Artemis facing right, wearing a diadem, with earrings and a pearl necklace; behind her, a quiver and a bow; in front, the monogram TK.
Reverse. ΜΑΣΣΑ. Lion facing right; XHH in the exergue and Δ in front of the lion.
MHM.50B/60 v. (ΓΚ) – Dicomon DRM-55-60 (TK); Silver – 2.64 g – 16.5 mm – 6 h
The strike is slightly off-centre. Distinctive in style, featuring a triple-pendant earring and a bow visible behind the bust. Slight wear and a pleasing patina with golden highlights. Almost Superb.
