GAUL - CELTIC Celto-Ligurians. Imitation of a light drachma or tetrabole from Marseille, undated (third quarter of the 2nd century BC). Obverse: Stylised bust of Artemis facing right, with shaggy, curly hair. Reverse: [////]. Stylised lion facing right. LT.2163 v. – Brenot/Lyon no. 9 (Salluvii?); Silver – 2.32 g – 13.5 mm – 6 h For the Ligurians or, occasionally, the Salyens (Salluvii). On a short, thick flan. Almost superb.
