Caletes. Hemistater, Class I with wheel motif, Variety 2, reverse showing ND on the left (2nd century BC).
Obv. Head of Apollo wearing a laurel wreath, facing right, with hair in large curled locks; a disc on the cheek.
Rev. A horse on the left, driven by a charioteer holding a curved spear in front of him; a disc between his legs on an exergue line with a pseudo-inscription.

In pale gold or electrum. Only minimal signs of handling and scratches on the high reliefs. Superb.
