GAUL - CELTIC Bituriges Cubes. Drachma, Class V, featuring a profile with curly hair and a triskelion on the reverse, ND (2nd–1st centuries BC). Obverse: Apollonian profile to the right, with curly hair. Reverse: Horseman to the right, holding the reins in his left hand and a shield in his right. Beneath the horse, a beaded triskelion. DT.3352 = this specimen!; Silver – 3.12 g – 17.5 mm – 9 h Acquired from Dillier in 2003. This is the specimen illustrated in the *Nouvel Atlas*, plate XVII, no. 3352. Oblong die, with partial strike weakness. Wear is even, with a grey patina. Very rare. Very Good to Very Good-Plus.
