Bituriges Cubes. Denarius with a sword, Class III, undated (1st century BC).
Obverse: Head facing left, hair in three thick locks.
Reverse: Horse facing left with one foreleg raised. Above, a sword pointing to the right; below, a centred ring.

Acquired from Bourgey in 1995.
On an oblong blank, the strike is slightly off-centre on the obverse. Attractive grey patina. Very Good to Superb condition.
