GAUL - CELTIC Petro-Corsicans. Drachma, Belvès series, featuring a torque, a wheel and an olive, ND (2nd–1st centuries BC). Obverse. Head facing left, with hair in broad locks swept back, an almond-shaped eye and a mouth formed by two dots. Reverse: A ball-headed cross dividing the field into four quarters: a torque in the 1 o’clock position, a four-spoked wheel in the 2 o’clock position, a vertical axe in the 3 o’clock position and a sort of flower in the 4 o’clock position.
