GAUL - CELTIC Petrochores. Drachma or quinarium featuring a monstrous boar, undated (c. 100–50 BC). Obverse: Profile to the right, with hair in locks. Small waves around the bust. Reverse: Boar facing right, with a round eye and ears pointing to the right. Both hind legs are raised and bent backwards over the back. Three globules linked in a V-shape above the back and a sort of fibula beneath the boar. DT.3642 - LT.4309 v.; Silver – 1.77 g – 14.5 mm – 2 h From a CGB sale in September 2018 (bga_496692). With a finely detailed obverse and a variety of reverse. Beautiful grey patina. Very Good Condition.
