GAUL - CELTIC Cadurci. Drachma, Cuzance series, with a late triangular head, undated (2nd–1st centuries BC). Obverse: Highly stylised head facing left, with the eye in the form of a triangle, hair arranged in arcs of a circle and beaded lines at the back. Reverse: Beaded cross forming four quarters; a globule in the fourth quarter. Savès 254 v. – Hiriart 8.01 at 19 v.; Silver – 2.25 g – 12 mm – 9 h On a quadrangular blank cut with shears. The lower part of the obverse forms a shrub. Only one bezant is visible on the reverse. Superb.
