Description
GAUL - CELTIC
Sotiates. Drachma with a trilobed flower, ND (2nd–1st centuries BC).
Obverse: Trilobed flower with a central bud; the three petals are represented by crescent shapes; six stamen-like points surround the central bud.
Reverse: A ball-headed cross in the centre, flanked by three crescent moons in the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarters; a ball-headed axe on the left, surmounted by three bezants, in the 3rd quarter.
