GAUL - CELTIC Ambiens or Morini. Quarter-stater featuring a tree and a broken line, variety 4, with the obverse bearing the inscription ‘ND’ (c. 60 BC). Obverse: Central protuberance decorated with a pointed ring. Reverse: Tree flanked by two horizontal ears of corn; below, a sort of sickle; on the right, a small crescent and a beaded rosette. DT.- (cf. 256) - LT.-; Gold – 1.13 g – 8.5 mm – 12 h A quarter of the small module and reduced weight (one-sixth of a stater?). Variety not clearly catalogued. With a golden-brown patina.
