GAUL - CELTIC The Treveri. Quinaris featuring a seated figure, Class II ND (c. 52 BC). Obverse. Seated figure facing left, the body represented by three globules, the right arm raised and the abdomen extended by a sort of tree. Below, a curved, globular line (serpent). Reverse: A highly stylised horse facing left; below, a small ring. DT.201 – LT.9383; Silver – 1.65 g – 12 mm – 7 h Acquired from C. Silberstein in 1985. Quite a fine style, although already very figurative on the reverse. With a dark patina. Very Good to Superb.
