GAUL - CELTIC Vindelici. Quinar with torques (Büschelquinar) ND (1st century BC). Obverse. Three central dots, surrounded by eight curved petals; below, a beaded torque. Reverse. Horse galloping to the left; below, a beaded torque and above, a beaded torque pointing upwards, with two bezants inside. DT.3277 v. – LT.9275 v.; Silver – 1.49 g – 12.5 mm – 3 h Attributed to north-western Switzerland or, more likely, to the Vendelici (Swiss-Baden and Württemberg). A rare combination featuring three torques. Well-centred with good relief. Slight grey patina. Very Good to Superb.
