Bust of Diana facing right, with braided hair, holding a bow and quiver behind her. Rev. C. HOSIDI C. F. Boar facing right, pierced by a spear and attacked by a dog. RRC.407/1; Silver – 4.02 g - 19.5 mm - 6 h From the Numismatica Ars Classica 21 sale, 17–18 May 2001, lot 211, then from the D. C. collection (CGB 52 auction by tender, lot 289). Wide flan. This first type is rarer; the second, featuring the small bust, is readily available. Retains its original lustre beneath a delicate patina. Superb, in mint condition.
