Bust of Africa facing right, wearing an elephant’s skin as a headdress; in front, an ear of wheat; below, a plough. Rev. EPPIVS / LEG. F. C. Hercules standing facing the viewer, right hand on his hip and left hand on a club adorned with a lion’s skin. RRC.461/1; Silver – 3.6 g – 16.5 mm – 9 h Acquired from the C. Oliva collection in 2005, then purchased from CGB, Live Auction, September 2018 (brm_495419). Well centred, with even wear; the edges are barely scuffed. Very good condition.
