ROMAN EMPIRE - ROMAN Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). Cistophorus ND (25–20 BC), Ephesus. Obv. IMP. CAE – SAR. Bareheaded head of Octavian facing right. Rev. AVGVSTVS. Altar adorned with garlands and two does. RPC.2215; Silver – 11.95 g – 25.5 mm – 11 h On a fine blank, the strike is slightly off-centre on the reverse. With a grey patina. Almost Superb.
