Reverse: GERMANICVS CAES P C CAES AVG GERM. Bareheaded head of Germanicus facing right.

Rare with both bareheaded portraits. Some graffiti in front of the portraits. Even wear with a grey patina. Very good condition.
Germanicus, a formidable military commander and member of the imperial family, was undoubtedly the most popular man in the Empire. His exceptional popularity stood in stark contrast to the people’s hostility towards the reigning emperor, Tiberius, to the extent that the latter began to fear his general.
