Calabria, Taranto. Didrachma in the name of the magistrates Ks-, Api- and Kl- ND (315–302 BC), Taranto.
Obverse: A horseman galloping on a horse to the right, holding a shield and two spears, brandishing a spear with his right hand; below, API and above, Ξ.
Reverse: TA-PAΣ. Taras seated on the left upon a dolphin, holding an oar in his left hand and a kantharos in his right; in front, KΛ.

Well centred with a very fine antique anthracite patina with golden highlights. Slight flattening on Taras’s thigh. Superb.
