Sicily, Camarina. Modern strike of the tetradrachm [5th century BC] (c. 1972), Paris Mint for NI (Numismatique Internationale).
Obverse: Athena driving a galloping quadriga to the left; above, a flying Victory crowning her; in the exergue, a heron flying to the left. Die mark 1 (horn) below.
Reverse: KAMAPINA. Bearded head of Heracles facing left, wearing the lion’s pelt.

A late 20th-century reissue by the Monnaie de Paris of the famous Camarina tetradrachm, with a fineness of 920/1000 (horn hallmark 1 on the reverse). Proof condition.
