Sicily, Syracuse, Second Democracy (466–405 BC). ND tetradrachm (440–430 BC).
Obverse: Quadriga walking to the left, driven by a charioteer holding the kentron and the reins, surmounted by Nike flying to the left with a wreath; in the exergue, Ceto or a sea goddess.
Rev. ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΟΝ. Head of Arethusa facing right, with curly hair, simple earrings and a necklace. Surrounded by four dolphins.
