Macedonia (Kingdom of), Perseus (176–168 BC). Attic-weight tetradrachm ND (c. 179–171 BC), Amphipolis.
Obverse: Head wearing a diadem, facing right.
Reverse: BΑΣΙ – ΛΕΩΣ / ΠΕΡ – ΣΕΩΣ. Within a wreath formed of two knotted oak branches, an eagle facing right, with outstretched wings, perched on a thunderbolt; a monogram above the head, between the talons and in the field to the right.
