External grene. Reverse: Quadripartite reised square. HGC 6, 646 – Sheedy Class Bii, Group 4, 40a (O84/R110) = this specimen!; Silver – 6.03 g – 14 mm – 12 h From the William H. Birkinshaw collection, Leu auction 38, 13 May 1986, lot 91, then Hess-Divo 283, 10 May 2000, lot 80, then the Triton IV sale, 5 December 2000, lot 215. NGC XF* 5/5 4/5 (8769657-006). On an oblong silver ingot, with the goat and the square incus fairly well centred. A fine example of the style from the last quarter of the 6th century! Light grey patina with golden highlights.
