GAUL - CELTIC Longostalètes. Languedoc-style drachma, early series [featuring an axe and a descending plait] ND (mid-3rd – first half of the 2nd century BC). Obverse: Head facing right, eye shown in profile, pointed nose, hair consisting of S-shaped and various oval-shaped locks. Reverse: Cross flanked by two bezants and (a bezant and an axe at the 3 o’clock position?). Savès 384 v. – Hiriart 2.04 v.; Silver – 3.36 g – 13 mm – 12 h On a small-module quadrangular flan.
