Obverse: L AEL AVREL CO – MM AVG P FEL. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right.
Rev. HERCVLI ROMANO AVG. Hercules, nude, facing forwards with his head to the left, holding a club and the lion’s carcass in his left hand and resting his right hand on a trophy of weapons.
Calicó 2262 – RIC.254b; Gold – 7.25 g – 20 mm – 12 h
Well centred with light circulation wear and minimal spots on the obverse. The reverse is highly detailed and quite rare! With a golden patina. Superb.
