The Emperor in military dress, seated on the left on a curule chair, holding a sceptre in his left hand and receiving a globe in his right hand from Military Virtue, who is helmeted and holding a spear; behind him, Victory holding a palm frond and crowning the Emperor; in the background, a soldier with a military standard; in the exergue: a crown.
