Constantine II (337–350). Solidus ND (322–323), Trier.
Obverse: FL CL CONSTAN – TINVS IVN N C. Laureate bust facing right.
Rev. GAVDIVM RO - MANORVM. Sarmatia seated on the left, in a sorrowful pose, resting her head on her right hand and reaching with her left hand towards a bow and arrow. Behind her, a trophy. In the exergue: SARMATIA / TR.

The metal is pinched at 12 o’clock with a minute trace of a hallmark, and another at 7 o’clock on the bezel on the reverse. Minuscule hairline scratches in the fields and a tiny chip on the rim at 2 o’clock on the reverse. Delicate golden patina over the original lustre. Very rare, if not unique, with the workshop mark. Superb, in mint condition.
