Postumus (260–269). Modern restrike of Postumus’s aureus featuring Hercules of Thrace (modern restrike) [ND] (c. 1972), Monnaie de Paris for NI (Numismatique Internationale).
Obv. POSTV – MVS AVG. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust, three-quarter view facing right.
Rev. HERCVLI THRACIO. Naked Hercules, standing on the right, grasping by the mane one of the mares of Diomedes, son of Ares, who is raising her head.

This is the second-highest grade (2)!

A late 20th-century reissue by the Monnaie de Paris of an aureus of Postumus, with a fineness of 920/1000 (horn mark 1 on the reverse). Very high grade. Uncirculated.
