Featuring this distinctive bust from Serdica. Mint not listed, but several examples have been reported. In its original struck condition with a patina showing golden highlights. Uncirculated.
Silver coins struck by Constantius Chlorus whilst he was Augustus are exceedingly rare. Appointed Augustus following the resignation of Maximian Hercules on 1 May 305, he held the title for only 15 months, until his death in July 306 at Eburacum (York), whilst on a campaign against the Picts
