AUSTRIA Charles VI (1711–1740). Double thaler, ‘ND’ (1719), Hall. Obv. CAROLVS. VI. Rev. G: RO: IMP: S: A: G: H: H: B: REX. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right, wearing the Collar of the Golden Fleece. Rev. ARCHIDVX. AVSTRIÆ. DVX. BURGVNDIÆ. COM: TYR. A crowned double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, holding a sceptre and a sword. Dav.1049; Silver – 57.2 g – 48 mm – 12 h NGC AU 58 (2139655-007). Large-sized, with a centred strike. Minimal wear with details clearly visible and a delicate grey patina with slightly bluish highlights. Superb in Proof condition.
