BULGARIA Boris III (1918–1943). 1 lev proof piéfort, 1925, lightning bolt, Poissy. Obverse: * БЪЛГАРИЯ * / CЪEДИНЕНИЕТО ПРАВИ СИЛАТА. The kingdom’s coat of arms supported by two lions holding pikes, all set upon a crowned mantling. Rev. Within a wreath formed of two branches: 1 ЛЕВЪ (date) and (mint); above, ESSAI. KM.- (cf. E9, 2 leva Paris); Brass – 6.48 g – 20 mm – 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! NGC MS 63 (8772190-010). 2.5 mm thick on a brass blank (70% copper and 30% zinc), with a reeded edge. A tiny spot on the reverse and tinned edges. Superb in mint condition.
