GREECE George II (1922–1923 and 1935–1947). 10-lepta proof piéfort, 1922, lightning bolt, Poissy. Obverse: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗE EΛΛΑΔΟΣ. Royal crown. Below: (date). Reverse. Above a laurel branch: 10 / ΛΕΠΤΑ; at the top ESSAI; at the bottom (mint) and (variant). KM.P1 v. (copper); Brass – 8.87 g – 21 mm – 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! NGC MS 63 BN (8772190-013). 3.4 mm thick on a brass blank (70% copper and 30% zinc), with a smooth edge. Only fingerprints have left brown marks on the fields. Superb in mint condition.
