Albert I (1909–1934). Set of 2 medals, 25th anniversary of the Banque du Congo Belge, by A. Bonnetain, 1934, Brussels (Fonson).
Obverse: BANQUE DU CONGO BELGE / BANK VAN BELGISCH / CONGO / 1909 * 1934 in the exergue. An elephant advancing to the left; monogram signature ‘AB’.
Reverse: A native woman in three-quarter profile facing left, holding a child she is breastfeeding. Behind her, a star. Signature ‘BONNETAIN FECIT’ in the exergue.
