Obverse: PATRIA y LIBERTAD / 1/2 OZ 0.999 (date). Fine gold. Bust of José Martí facing right; on the reverse (mint mark).
Reverse: REPUBLICA DE CUBA / 50 PESOS. Within a wreath formed of an oak branch and a laurel branch, a shield bearing the coat of arms of the Republic.
