EGYPT Fouad I (1917–1936). Medal, Official visit of King Fouad I to Czechoslovakia, 26 to 28 June 1929, by H.E. Vernier and Lad Saeud 1929, Paris. Obverse: Legend in Arabic script. Bust facing right in uniform, signed H.E. VERNIER 1924. Reverse: Beneath the crowned coats of arms of Egypt and Czechoslovakia, two allegorical figures symbolising Egypt and Czechoslovakia; signed LAD SAEUD. In the centre: OFFICIAL VISIT OF HIS MAJESTY FUAD I, KING OF EGYPT, TO CZECHOSLOVAKIA 26–28 JUNE 1929. Bronze – 135.05 g – 72 mm – 12 h Hallmark (horn) BRONZE. In lightly gilded bronze. Minimal marks on the obverse. Superb, mint condition.
