Pepin the Short (751–768). Obole ND, Chartres.
Obverse: RP in the field beneath a tilde, with a bezant between the letters, one bezant beneath the letter R and one beneath the P.
Reverse: A standing man, facing forwards, with his arms raised, holding a cross in each hand. Bezants in the field.
