FRANCE / CAPETIANS - FRANCE / ROYAL Philip VI (1328–1350). Gold royal coin, Notre Dame (1328). Obverse: PH’S REX° - FRA°COR’. The King standing beneath a Gothic canopy, crowned, holding the sceptre. Reverse: + XP’C° VINCIT° XP’C° REGNAT° XP’C° IMPERAT. A quatrefoil cross, leafy and fleur-de-lis-adorned, within a trefoil quatrefoil flanked by four small crowns. Dy.247 - Fr.271; Gold - 4.20 g - 26.5 mm - 5 h With a certificate of authenticity by Jean Bally dated 24 June 1974 (20,000 Frs). NGC MS 62 (6647363-021). With a slight crease, barely visible.
