Philip VI (1328–1350). Golden Chair of Our Lady (1346).
Obverse: + PHILIPPVS: DEI: GRACIA: FRANCORVM: REX. The King seated in a Gothic stall, crowned, holding the sceptre and the hand of justice, within a polylobed medallion interrupted at the bottom, flanked by small trefoils.
Reverse: +: XP’C: VINCIT: XP’C: REGNAT: XP’C: IMPERAT. A four-lobed cross, leafy and fleur-de-lis-adorned, curved into a heart shape, within a four-lobed clover-shaped field flanked by four small crowns.

The strike on the obverse is very slightly trefoil-shaped and off-centre, but very clear on the reverse. With a golden patina. Superb.
