John II the Good (1350–1364). Gold royal coin, 2nd issue, undated (1359).
Obverse: IOH’ES: DEI: GRA – FRANCORV: REX. The King standing beneath a Gothic canopy, crowned, holding the sceptre.
Rev. + XPC: VINCIT: XPC: REGNAT: XPC: IMPERAT. A fleur-de-lis and leafy cross, curved into a heart shape (with a fleur-de-lis), flanked by four lilies, within a polylobed field.
