Charles V (1364–1380). Franc on foot, Our Lady (1365).
Obverse: KAROLVSx DIx GR – FRANCORVx REX. The King, crowned, standing beneath a canopy flanked by fleurs-de-lis, wearing a coat of arms bearing fleurs-de-lis over his chainmail, holding a sword and the hand of Justice.
Reverse: + XPC* VINCIT* XPC* REGNAT* XPC* IMPERAT. A trefoil cross with an angled quatrefoil at the centre, flanked by two fleurs-de-lis and two small crowns, within an angled quatrefoil flanked by fleurs-de-lis.
