Charles VI (1380–1422). Gold shield with a crown, 3rd issue of the ‘ND’ series (1389–1394), Paris.
Obverse: + KAROLVSx DEIx GRACIAx FRANCORVMx REX. Crowned Shield of France.
Reverse: + XPC* VINCIT* XPC* REGNAT* XPC* INPERAT. Fleur-de-lis and leafy cross, with a star within a curvilinear heart-shaped lozenge, all within a quatrefoil flanked by four small crowns.
