Charles VI (1380–1422). Blanc dit Guénar, 1st issue, with ‘T’ at the start of ‘ND’ (1385–1389), ‘T’, Toulouse.
Obverse: ·(mint mark)· KAROLVS: FRANCORV: REX. Shield of France.
Reverse: (mint mark)· SIT: NOME: DNI: BENEDICTV. Cross flanked by two small crowns and two lilies.

Acquired at the Novotel numismatic fair in 2011.
Bearing the letter ·T· as the initial, almost certainly standing for Toulouse! Lightly cleaned with a developing golden patina. Very rare. Superb.
Only a few examples are known with this initial ‘T’; we have found three others for sale: iNumis VSO 47, 2019, no. 116 (€680 = J. Grangien collection = OGN, 2010, €900); Elsen 102, 2009, no. 509, €300; CGB VSO 33, 2007, no. 1070, notched, €265 “Specimen struck with the same reverse die as no. 12 from the Gauciel (Eure) hoard, published in Trésors monétaires XXII, 2007, p. 271 and pl. 30”
