Henry VI of England (1422–1453). Gold ‘Salut’ coin, 2nd issue, undated (1422), Paschal Lamb, Amiens.
Obverse (mint mark) HENRICVS: DEI: GRA: FRACORV: Z: AGLIE: REX. The Archangel Gabriel standing before the Virgin Mary, to whom he holds out a scroll bearing the word AVE, behind the joined coats of arms of France and England; above, the rays of the sun.
Reverse (mint mark) XPC’* VINCIT’* XPC’* REGNAT’* XPC’* IMPERAT. A plain Latin cross flanked by a lily and a leopard, beneath which is an uncial H, within a fleur-de-lis-adorned polylobe.

NGC MS 62 (8769662-003).
Featuring the Paschal lamb for Amiens. A small ring beneath the ‘E’ in ‘REX’ and the ‘A’ in ‘IMPERAT’. Slight weakness in the detail of the Archangel Gabriel. The patina is slightly golden. Very Good to Superb.
