Obverse: +: KAROLVS+ DEI GRACIA+ FRANCORVM+ REX (punctuation by two superimposed crosses). Crowned shield of France, flanked by two crowned lilies. Reverse: +· XPC+ VINCIT+ XPC+ REGNAT+ XPC+ IMPERAT (punctuation by two superimposed crosses). A leafy cross with an angled quatrefoil at the centre, flanked by four small crowns, within a quatrefoil. Dy.511 - Fr.307; Gold - 3.51 g - 29 mm - 3 h PCGS AU58 (60895143). A dot after the first cross on the reverse indicates a different master. With a wide flan and a regular strike. Beautiful golden patina. Superb.
