Obverse (nave): LVDOVICVS: DEI: GRACIA (lily) FRANCOR: REX:. Crowned Shield of France, flanked by two crowned lilies.
Reverse (nave): XPS: VINCIT (fleur-de-lis) XPS: REGNAT: XPS: IMPERAT. A leafy cross with a quatrefoil in the centre, flanked by four small crowns, within a quatrefoil.

Featuring the original nave and punctuation by two superimposed rings, except for the lilies after ‘GRACIA’ and ‘VINCIT’. The ‘E’ in ‘REX’ is mirror-inverted. The strike is trefoil-shaped. With a golden patina. Superb, near-proof condition.
