Large armoured bust facing right, bareheaded; below (variant). Rev. (pink) XPS. VINCIT. XPS. REGNAT. XPS. INP. (date). (variant). Crowned shield, quartered with the coats of arms of France and the Dauphiné, flanked by two crowned H’s; (mint mark) beneath the shield. Dy.1054 - G.379A; Silver – 9.35 g – 27 mm – 2 h Featuring the large bust of Henry II. Slightly clovered strike on the reverse. Scratch on the cheek. Beautiful grey patina. Superb.
