Obverse (at 12 o’clock) HENRICVS. III. D. - G. FR. ET. POL. REX. Shield of France crowned beneath a sun, with the mint mark below.
Reverse + CHRISTVS. REGNAT. VI. ET. IM. (date) (variant). Ringed cross with fleurs-de-lis, with a four-lobed centre.

NGC MS 61 (8769662-036).
The strike is neat and the engraving is elegantly styled. The date has been altered on the die from 1578 to 1575. This specimen has seen very little circulation, with a slight golden patina over the original lustre. Superb in Proof condition.
