Rev. + SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDICTVM. (date). Fleur-de-lis cross with a flowered centre, featuring an ‘H’ in the centre.

Bearing the Hebrew letter ‘Schin’ of Simon of Navarre, master. Regular strike, produced using a newly installed balance or mechanical mill. The obverse die, or bust die, is certainly that of Philippe Danfrie, chief engraver. Minor scratches on the obverse and even wear. Very rare. Very Fine.
