From the royalist mint at Saint-Jean-de-Losne, which rivalled the League mint at Dijon perfectly: even the mint mark (P), master’s mark (M) and engraver’s mark (clover) are different! Only a few examples are known to exist, and our specimen is close to its original mint condition, with the original lustre barely tarnished. Superb in mint condition.
