Obverse + (various). HENRI. C. D. G. F. REX. ET. NAV. Large crowned ‘H’, between three lilies.
Reverse + SIT. NOMEN. DO - M: BENEDIC (date). Fleur-de-lis cross; below (mint mark).

From the royalist mint at Saint-Jean-de-Losne, which rivalled the League mint at Dijon perfectly: even the mint mark (P), master’s mark (M) and engraver’s mark (clover) are different! Die with incorrect date (1951 instead of 1591) and the title HENRI C(UATRE?). Extremely rare. Almost Superb.
